Tasha Marie Fusek's Obituary
Tasha Marie Fusek of Eustis, Florida passed away, suddenly, on Saturday December 28, 2024, at the age of 54. She was born in Winter Park, Florida on June 11, 1970, to her parents William and Susan Ray.
She was preceeded in death by her precious younger sister, Heather Ray Ryan, and her loving Dad, William B. Ray, her cherished grandparents, Walter and Helen Coddington, as well as her step-grandmother Carline Coddington.
She is survived by her husband, John M. Fusek of Eustis, her stepson Joshua Fusek of Georgia, her mother, Susan Ray of Eustis, her niece, Haylee Ellis and husband Nigel and their two sons, Gunnar and Maverick of Panama City Beach, and her nephew, Cameron Moffis of Eustis, niece, Rachel Wainwright of Lake Mary, her Aunt, Carol Tharp of Eustis, her cousins, Pam Ferris (Rob)of Austin TX, Ryan and Grant Tharp (Olga) of Eustis, Amanda and Eva Day of Tx , and Kyle(Brittany), Chase and Roman Day of Fl., and half-brother Bill Ray, Jr.(Nancy) of Idaho, along with his children, Zack (Samantha), Holden and Slader Ray and Maddi (Aaron) Neary of Idaho.
She attended Park Maitland School, Lake Howell High School and received her degrees in Business Management, Finance and Marketing from Seminole State College. She was a joyful, intelligent, beautiful blonde force to be reckoned with her whole life. At 4 yr old kindergarten, she would often ask her teacher if she could get up and teach the class. (that precious teacher would let her.) This was a peek and a nod into her future, as she rose to every occasion to excel. She bought her first home at age 21} she ran several businesses of her own from Cabana Rayz in Deltona, a tanning, nail and hair salon, many home-based businesses along the way, to her current side business of candle making while holding down a 9-5 job in Orange City as the company's manager, bookkeeper, HR, payroll, their everything.
She didn't know the word quit. There may have been obstacles, but, somehow, some way, she would climb over, go under or plow through and find the answer, and was a masterful multi-tasker.
She had such a joyful heart of gold and was always showing small acts of kindness and encouragement to others. She really never met a stranger.
She would pray for you, pray with you, laugh with you or chat all day if you needed it. She gave an awesome hug, a kind word, a helping hand, a text, a phone call. Her laugh was infectious, had a great sense of humor, her hugs were healing, and she was the brightest light when she entered the room.
The family has had so many of her friends convey that they always felt that she made them feel that they were the only person she cared about. She was there 110% just for them, and that she filled a missing piece in their lives.
When her younger sister passed away from cancer, she was there for her niece and nephew, not to replace their mom, but to let them know they were loved, she had their back, and they were not alone. When her Dad became ill, she and her husband moved up to Eustis, to be with her folks and assist her Mom with her Dad's care. She was her mom's best friend, always one step ahead in caring and loving her so well.
From all the beautiful messages her family has received, they see that she touched lives across the country. Her family is so blessed and their hearts so full knowing how many hearts she helped, and how much you and they will miss her giant beautiful smile and her greeting you with "Hello Darlin " or "Hey Beautiful”. Her family would like you to know and remember how much she loved each of you.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday January 17, 2025 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mount Dora, Florida at 9 AM.
