Steve enjoyed a myriad of talents and interests. For one, he was a published novelist whose first work detailed a futuristic world in which individuals were rated with a “J Factor” that was based on their supposed worth to society. That J Factor determined if they would get transplants or other major medical interventions. It was a legal thriller that could only be written by someone intimately aware of both the good and bad in our justice system.
He was an amateur car and plane engineer who was always building or tinkering with one or the other. And even he built his own Porsche!
He could be found at our local McDonald’s, sitting in a booth and ready to offer pro bono legal help to people who needed but couldn’t afford it.
He was generous to and interested in everyone and enjoyed talking with friends on any subject. We feel honored to be friends with both :Steve and Carol and their friendship will always be precious to us. We love you both.
