Nana was a wonderful person who we were blessed to know and love. I admired her strength, her energy, and her sense of humor. She spoke her mind, but left you smiling – and usually laughing. She was full of life. Her great-grandson thought the world of his Nana because she always made him giggle. She would even sit down on the floor to play with him (at over 90 years of age). We will miss her so very much, but we will have wonderful memories filled with love.##imported-begin##Nona Ostertog##imported-end##
Some of my best childhood memories are those of going to dinner at Aunt Roberta's and Uncle George's house in Dunellen, when Aunt Roberta knew what I came for -- her famous mashed potatoes with cheese. . .Her warmth and her positive outlook have really stuck with me all these years, and I sure won't be forgetting her any time soon.##imported-begin##Neil Garland##imported-end##
I hadn't seen Aunt Roberta in a number of years, when she came to visit her sister Ruth, my mother. My mother passed away October 2004, and my father, Roy, 5 months later. My only wish is that I had stayed in touch with Aunt Roberta, as she was so close to my mother, and she reminded me so much of her. She was always so full of life and fun to be around. Although our life paths didn't converge often enough, I will miss her.Woody##imported-begin##Woody Woodhull##imported-end##
