Why is it we hear of a person's storied past only in their obituary? Penny was an outstanding basketball player? A recognized, outstanding educator? My memory of Penny will always be of a quiet, unassuming lady who always had a cheerful greeting and never forgot to ask about one's family. She was a real PEACH! Penny will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
So sorry for the loss of your wife, Dr Zeller.
We think of you often. (Now living in Rochester, Indiana in an independent retirement
home. God blessings for you and your family.

Penny was a sweet soul. No pretense, no social climbing, just a genuine North Carolina girl. She never cared to be anything but what she was and I loved her for that. We did a lot of fun things together and I will always remember her very fondly..and miss her. I hope God has lots and lots of good books for her! Lynn Miles
