Marilyn S. Harper's Obituary
Marilyn S. Harper of Paisley, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the age of 72 years. She was born in Berea, Kentucky. Marilyn lived in Deland for 18 years and moved to Lake County in July 2019. She was married to Robert Edwin Harper for 45 years. Robert passed away on October 19, 2011. Prior to his passing, Marilyn was very involved in helping him with his band. Marilyn was a homemaker and took good care of her family. In Deland, she owned a 5 acre piece of property which she called her "Farm". She raised animals and tended to their needs. Marilyn is remembered and will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert D. and Tara Harper of Paisley; son, James D. Harper (Michele) of Rock Hall, Maryland; sister, Monique (Joseph) Tutt of Deland; grandchildren, Kyle Harper, Alexis Harper, Cody Daryl Harper, Ricky Gage Harper, Britney Grace Harper, Ashley Lynne (Logan) Timmerman, Michael Smart and Jonathan Smart; and one great-grandchild, RJ Daryl Scott Lawrence.
