Yo tube el placer de conocer a Lucy, en Bronx New York en 1978. Ella era super amiga de mi amiga y hermana, Zoraida sotomayor, p]la cual me la presento ase 34 anos atras. Lucy era la madre de mi amiga y hermana Margie Valentine, a la cual conoci cuando tenia 17 anos. Nosotros nos combertimos en una familia, ya que siempre estabamos todos juntos gosando, comiendo y bailando en el 2281 de University Ave en el Bronxs donde todos viviamos. Fueron los mejores momentos cuando nos reuniamos con Lucy, en su ventana del primer piso, de su apartamento. Lucy siempre se sentava en la ventana y ahi nos le acercabamos todos a aser chistes y reirnos y darnos la fria. Aveses nos entreteniamos tanto, que hasta se nos olvidava que ivamos para otro lugar ahi nos quedavamos con ella. Lucy era una gran persona la cual siempre tenia una sonrisa a flor de labios. Todos sus hijos la amaban demasiado y siempre estaban al tanto de ella. Lucy fue una persona muy querida por todos sus amistades y especialmente su familia. a ella se le podia confiar y podiamos hablar con ella de lo que fuera y contarle secretitos que ella nunca dibulgava nada. Fue muy devota en su Iglesia y de tanto que asistia aveses yo la mirava y me creia que estava mirando una virgencita.
