Jimmy J. Horner's Obituary
Jimmy J. Horner 76, of Tavares, passed away on September 2, 2017. He was born in Greenville, Tennessee and moved to Eustis in 1949. Jimmy was a Retired Colonel with the Lake County Sheriff's Department and a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his wife Judith "Judy" Horner, they were married for 50 years, also surviving are his children; Terry Lee Horner of Marion County, Michael (Kelly) Horner of Mount Dora and Lee Ann Horner of Lake Mary, Florida, his grandchildren; Kiley Horner, Hannah Barreto and Corbin Williams and his great grandchildren; Nivea Barreto and Lydia Barreto. Jimmy was predeceased by his brother Buddy Horner earlier this year. Services will be held in LifePointe Church of Eustis at 11 AM Thursday, September 7th, the family will greet friends from 10 AM until the service time.
