Grammy and Grandpa never turned away any one in need. Many family through the years have stayed on their property. My sister and I were brought here on July 4, 1996. Without notice to us and little time to know themselves. We were welcomed with open arms! I cherish the years I lived with my Grammy and Grandpa. I learned so much in that time about what family really can be. They loved me cared about me and always accepted me me. They helped shape me into the person I am today. I'll never forget her soft cool hugs on hot afternoons after school. Or the many cooking lessons and weekly trips to Winn Dixie. Church on Sundays and Wednesdays and all the people they helped along the way. The values they had and instilled in me are very cherished and respected to this day. I will miss hanging out in her room and talking to her about new things. Saying cuss words and making her giggle. Laying in her bed and looking through my camera roll so she could see the sunsets and new puppies. She is my Grammy Poo. I would sing to her. Grammy Poo, I love you. I love you my Grammy Poo. She will forever be my hero saving my from the biggest spiders. I love her so much.
