Ethel Lenora Overton's Obituary
Ethel Lenora Overton 88, of Sorrento, passed away in Mount Dora on July 20, 2014. She was born in Akron, Ohio and had lived in Altamonte Springs for many years prior to moving to Sorrento in 1986. She was a member of the Sorrento Baptist Church. She had worked for the General Electric Factory in Mt. Plymouth before retirement. She is survived by her husband Royce Hancock, her children; Danny R. (Pam) Overton of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, Sandy (Jim) Roberts of Sorrento and Ike (Vicki) Overton of Weirsdale, Florida, her brothers; Richard Wiley of Marathon, New York, James Wiley of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and Noel Wiley of Marathon, New York, sisters; Joanne McLohan and Carol Lundy both of Longwood, Florida and Donna Wiernicki of Trumansburg, New York, grandchildren; Jason Overton, Kristina Bradford and Charles Overton and her great grandchildren Landon Tennison and Dana Smith. She was predeceased by her brother Emerson Wiley. Memorial services will be held in the Sorrento Baptist Church on Friday, July 25th at 11:30 AM. Pastor Chris Hall will officiate. The final resting place will be Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
