Elizabeth Joan Owen's Obituary
Elizabeth Joan Owen, 96, died peacefully on December 28th.
She was a beloved choral teacher who studied at FSU and taught in Miami Dade public schools.
Some of her students went on to become professional singers and she loved keeping up with them and attending their performances throughout their careers.
In 1996 she moved back to Lake County Florida where she retired.
She is survived by her chosen and related family Harryette Anne Duncan , nephew Ron Bartholf niece Charlene Owen (Danna Pentes) and Catherine Owen .
Gravesite service will be at Tavares cemetery scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday January 2
