Aunt Betty was a loving role-model for her nieces and nephews as they grew from childhood to adults. She quietly assumed leadership positions in the teaching profession, and led by example with her generosity to the causes which were important to her. She was a strong and independent woman who actually demanded equality to all. She lived her younger life well as a world-wide traveler immersing herself into other cultures. She was patient, knowing that some changes take a long time. Let us give thanks to God for Elizabeth's life with us.
