Earl F. Hagar, Minister's Obituary
Earl F. Hagar, Minister 78, of Eustis, passed away on November 3, 2015. He was born in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Mr. Hagar was the lead Minister of the Christian Church of Brooksville from 1973 until his retirement from that position in 2002, he then led the Senior Ministry until his retirement in 2014, then he moved to Eustis and became a member of the Lake Eustis Christian Church. He was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Brooksville for many years and served as the Chaplain for the Brooksville Police Department. Mr. Hagar was a 1956 graduate of Eustis High School and had worked as a sports broadcaster for WLCO Radio of Eustis prior to entering the ministry. He was predeceased by his wife Ann Adams Hagar in 2013; they were married for 57 years. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family, children; Debby (Robert) Bryant of Eustis, Jeff Hagar of Eustis and Troy (Annette) Hagar of Brooksville, and his grandchildren; Wendy Baron, Evan Bryant, Alex Bryant, John David Bryant, Megan Trotten, Seven Hagar, Matthew Hagar, Morgan Hagar and Dylan Hagar. Memorial services will be held in Lake Eustis Christian Church on Saturday, November 7th with Brent Elliott and Jack Bliffen, Ministers officiating.
