Charles William Levi's Obituary
Charles William Levi, 84, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away at Florida Hospital - Waterman in Tavares, Florida on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. He was born in Addison, New York, son of Charles and Rachael Levi, and first moved to Venice, Florida and then to Mount Dora in 1997. Mr. Levi was a veteran of WWII, having served his country in the United States Navy. He owned and operated Levi TV in Addison, New York for many years. Mr. Levi began operating Levi TV, then known as Hubbs Electric, in the early 1950's and introduced the first television sets to many local homes in the Steuben County area. He was a member of Addison Union Lodge 118 F.&A.M., Tuscarora Woodhull O.E.S. and William Greengrass Post 730 of the American Legion also of Addison. Mr. Levi was an Episcopalian. Mr. Levi is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary, his daughter, Lauren K. Levi of St. George Island, Florida, his sister, Augusta L. Haire and his brother, Gordon H. Levi, both of Pensacola, Florida. He was predeceased by his parents and an infant brother, Robert L. Levi.
