Charlie and Mary were very good friends of my parents, Burton & Thelma Cook. I have fond memories of Charlie and his pride and joy...his Corvair. Family of Charlie Levi,How many times did I go to Levi Electronics, I can not count them. My father was Donald A. White, for a time the only barber on Main St. and my mother Marian, both have passed. I know my father enjoyed Charlie's company and I believe they respected each other based on my observations as a naive young boy. Charlie sold Dad our first Zenith, a black 'n white with two big knobs at the top left for on/off & volume and right for the three channels that were available at the time. What a thrill that was when Dad brought it home. Then all the succeeding Zeniths until we got to color. Fond and wonderful memories of Charlie on Main St. a piece of my adult fabric that I will never forget as long as I am alert and upright. All my sympathies and from the remaining parts of my family, my brother Dennis who lives in Milwaukee, WI and the heir to the White name my son Josh who lives in NYC.
