I was to look up stuff that was about Mrs. Winifred S. Langley
I found out that Winifred was to have joined the Navy and later on that year she was to give birth to a son Thomas E. Langley Jr. the Navy has a strict rule no women can get with child that they must leave the Navy . In due time Winifred was to help out with her families and then lived on a farm in Pitt County ,N.C. She was to alter mover to Durham, N.C. and stay till Thomas E. Langley was to Finish Med School from DUKE .Then the Family was to move to Jacksonville, Florida and were to take a short trip to Eustis, Florida and the Law was to stop us on SR 19 in the Ocala Forest there was Willis V. Mc Call and the red light flashing . Willis, Hay are Dr. Thom Langley ,Yes who are you just follow me the traffic was to stop and all a sudden the road was lined up with people waving at us .I remember see the Sherriff sitting back with a cigar in his mouth and the lights were rolling, we got to Altoona and the folks were all on the side of the road as we came to Umatilla we saw hundreds of people and mother was so surprised to see such a welcoming party. The car was to go threw Dona Vista and the city of Eustis was like about two miles away and the town was to see all of use and the people were to be so very kind Jimmy Laws was to get us into a A.C. room and we were to go to the Fountain Inn Hotel. The swimming pool was very nice and the Miss Eustis Pageant was to take place .the ladies were to be in swim wear and then get into some southern dresses with hopes and they looked like the women in posters that have a add for Cypress Gardens in Florida. Life was very good for my Mother but I was to have a disability that I couldn't remember under presser. I tried my best and the City of Eustis was the first city to have about five disabled children some with diabetes , others were epileptics and other were with needs that mental health people could help out. some babies were with TaSacks and other were born with only a Mother .I remember that my dad was to come home from seeing a women who had a baby that had very little formula to feed the baby and hardly any food to feed her self.
My Dad called my Mother and then Mother was to get some Quilts and blankets that we had not used and gave them to the lady and the baby. My Mother was to put her hands over her eyes and cry because we had so much and the people in the city had so little. Next time you see a person walking down the street ask if they would like a Happy Meal. The person doesn't know that they get Ice Tea and a hamburger with fries and slaw. Just about four dollars ,.that person might be your Angel that will be in front of you in Heaven.
Ask yourself who is the winner well it is both of you because you are serving the Lords way .
