Wilma Sneed 92, of Leesburg, passed away on July 8, 2018. She was born in West Frankfort, Illinois and moved here in 1973 from Jacksonville. She was protestant. Wilma will be deeply missed by her survivors including her children; Read Obituary
I knew her as Mema. She was the kind of grandmother who took care of us when we were sick, sewed poodle skirts for us, and cooked our favorite meal on our birthdays. She was the most forgiving person I have ever known and someone for whom family was everything. She was our biggest cheerleader and the first to help us pick up the pieces when we fell. She was a funny, gracious, and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Thank you, Mema, for teaching me about unconditional love and so much more.

My eldest sister,one of the first grandchildren, gave her the name Mema. She was the most gracious of any person I know. She sewed anything you wanted in the store. Made any birthday cake you wanted and put up with a master chief for 50 years. She has more charm and charisma then any one I have ever met since. I miss you already. My mema.
