Wilma C. Anderson, 75 of Tavares, FL passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Wilma was born on Wednesday, April 19, 1944 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Loren and Amanda Coker. She was an active member and volunteer of First Pres Read Obituary
Today I saw this beautiful video of Wilma for the first time and made me remember all the wonderful times my Mom (Dot), Dad (Scott) and I spent at her home in Homestead in the early 1970's visiting with her and Rege, laughing at stories, eating her delicious meals, playing with her poodles, enjoying Steven and Michelle, sitting in their gorgeous backyard oasis with palms and flowers all around us. One of the best food memories is making chocolate covered cherries in her kitchen with her. I'll always think of her when I see or make these. I moved from FL in 1990, but found myself back here in 2006. We had talked about getting together again and reminiscing of all the fun times, but never got around to it, unfortunately. She was a sweetheart and my family and I loved her very much. I'm so sorry she isn't here to give a hug to. Love to Michelle and Steven, from Jackie Tyler Lee.

A lot of people come in and out of our lives but the day I met Wilma at our rabbit club in Miami would turn out to be one of the best days of my life.

She was my best friend for a very very long time and I love her dearly. Her passing leaves a big hole in my heart but God only calls home the best and she certainly was that.

There are so many wonderful memories of Wilma. The best is her always making me feel welcome. From the moment I met her she wanted me to know that I could come over any time I felt a little home sick. It always helped that her cats made me feel welcomed to. She will be miss but her memory will live on forever. Thank you for sharing her with us. Wilma was one of the sweetest ladies I have had the pleasure of knowing. Her sweet smile and warm personality always made you feel special. She is already missed. 💕
