William H. Shaw, Jr.'s Obituary
William H. ‘Bill’ Shaw, Jr. of Tavares, Florida passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2018 at the age of 69 years. He was born in Easton, Pennsylvania. Bill proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After his Navy service, Bill attended college and graduated with a degree in accounting but quickly decided this was not the career path he wanted. Shortly after, he went to work for the United States Postal Service in Lehigh Valley, PA. He retired from the Post Office after 38 years of service. Bill was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Easton. He was a stamp collector and a member of the stamp club. Bill was an avid sports fan and loved watching football, baseball and NASCAR. He and his wife, Donna, moved to Imperial Terrace from Pennsylvania in 2006. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Skinner and his brothers, Ray Hildenbrandt and Thomas Shaw. Bill is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 18 years, Donna Kay Shaw; son and daughter-in-law, William Herbert Shaw III and Dawn of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania; step-daughter, Diane Stewart and her husband, David of Lawrenceville, Georgia; step-son, David Fritz and his wife, Helen of Barstow, California; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Flora Shaw of the Philippines; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jim Mingle of Easton, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Eileen Hildenbrandt of Northampton, Pennsylvania; grandson, Tanner Shaw; step-grandchildren, Michael Fritz, David Fritz, Jr., Andrea Wedin, Donna Espinosa, Alfredo Giron, and Dan August Giron; and step-great-grandchildren, Trinity, Megan, Kaylee, Jemma, Cole, Sofia, Daniel, Jr., and Isaiah.
