William Robert Calhoon's Obituary
William Robert “Cal” Calhoon of Fruitland Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 67 years. He was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania. He moved to Lake County in 2016 from Daytona Beach, where he lived for over 30 years. In addition to being a former professional bowler, Cal worked in the bowling industry for 45 years. From Technical design to owning bowling centers, he had a broad spectrum of knowledge of the business. He was also a sales representative for Ebonite International and was one of the most winning Professional Player Touring Reps in history for the Ladies Professional Tour. He was a former member of the USBC and the PBA.
He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his daughters, Christina Calhoon of Fruitland Park, Florida, Tiffany Diane Calhoon of Deland, Florida, Sandra Dee Calhoon of Florida, and Jesse Rose Calhoon of Austin, Texas; son, Willie Michael Joe Calhoon of South Carolina; his former wife and lifelong friend, Frances Diana Calhoon of Fruitland Park; brother, Joe (Diane) Calhoon of Ohio; and 3 grandchildren, Cali Ann Calhoon, Elizabella Dee Calhoon and Cole William Calhoon.
