Unfortunately, we were not aware of Bill's passing until today. Nancy and I are so sorry for the earthly loss of this wonderful human being. He was so special in so many ways. He was honest, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and made you feel good inside after talking with him. Our prayers are with Bill's family and friends, We felt blessed to know him. I am so sorry to hear the news about Bill. I met him 2007 when I moved to Mount Dora area and was searching for a mechanic. As soon as I shook his hands for the first time, I knew I met someone whom I can trust. He was so friendly and joy to talk to. He cared about his customers and was very accommodating to the point that he gave me his personal car to use while mine was still being worked on. This is the type of person Bill was to me and others alike---a great guy!! My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed!!

It's very sad to hear the news about Bill. Although I only really knew him from taking my vehicle to S. Bay but during those interactions he made you feel like more than just a customer. He would drive me down a few blocks to my place of employment but during that ride and small chat it felt as though we had been life long friends growing up. You will be missed my friend and are now in the comfort of God's hands.
It's a sad time at South bay Automotive, we had to say good bye to a wonderful man, great boss, and long time friend. Bill lived his life exactly how he wanted to, he had cancer but cancer didn't have him. He wasn't the kind of man who traveled much, he found great peace sitting at home tinkering with his muscle cars or quiet time by his pond feeding the fish. When he did travel, his destination of choice was always Georgia, where he spent many treasured years in a tree stand, being with his long time buddies and spending quality time with his son. They say "Choose a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life" Bill never worked a day in his life. He took great joy in the business that he started years ago with his Dad. He was a man of great integrity and his customers knew it, he treated everyone the way he would want to be treated and his business prospered because of it. Bill loved Georgia, his cars, his business but his pride and joy and greatest accomplishments in life is his son, Brandon. Bill was very proud of his son, who never left his side throughout his battle. There's a quote that reads "Money makes you wealthy but friends make you rich". Bill was a very "rich man", he had many friends, some that go way back, some newer, but he had a way of making every friend he had feel like they were his best friend.. Bill was loved and respected by many and will be very much missed.... Love Debbie
"Bill" as I referred to you, I will miss your "DC" when we greeted each other either in person or on the phone. You told me to buy me a new truck and quit putting money in my old pickum up truck. When I finally broke down and bought the new truck you called me a "Red Neck". We both laughed so hard we nearly passed out. What I wouldn't give to share that laughter again. A man who never had a bad word to say about anyone. I will miss our laughter especially when we made fun of something or each other. I know in my heart the world was a better place with you here and I know in my heart Heaven has received a Godly man, a great man, and a dear dear friend. I miss you Bill, and I Love You Man!
