William A. "Bill" LeHeup 88, of Eustis, passed away on January 28, 2017. He was born in Dade City, Florida and moved to Eustis in 1955. Bill was the retired Vice President and Installment Loan Officer for the First State Bank and Read Obituary
I remember when I first met Bill. The Phillips family lived a block up Mary Street from our home and I went with my grandmother to call on them and meet Louise's finance. I have known Bill in various roles since then and as a friend and church member. If my memory is correct he managed the State Theater as a young man. Years later I worked in the same office with him for Lake County. As Purchasing Manager he was helpful in clueing me in to the County culture when I arrived as Risk Manager, since I had previously worked only for insurance companies.

What a great, gentle soul. I will miss seeing him in the Pharmacy each month.
