Wayne W. Bennett's Obituary
Wayne W. Bennett 70, of San Ramon, California, passed away on June 16, 2019. He was born in Washington, Indiana, and moved from Miami to San Ramon in 1978. Wayne lived briefly in Mount Dora, Florida as a young man. He was Catholic, a Rotarian and the former Mayor of San Ramon, California. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Lisa Mitchell. Also surviving are his sons, Michael Bennett (Cindy) of San Diego, California, James Ryan Bennett (Mia) of Benicia, California and Sean Michael Bennett (Tyra) of Concord, California, his step children, Lauren Stephanie Mitchell of Tracy, California and David Joseph Mitchell of Oakland, California, his sister Michele Koslovsky of Lutz, Florida and two grandchildren, Reign Bennett and Henry Bennett. There will be a gathering in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Saturday, June 22nd from 11 AM until 1 PM. Interment will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery, Mount Dora, Florida.
