Wanda H. Bullock 65, of Grand Island, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 6, 2014. She was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and moved here in 2009 from Smithfield, Virginia. She was a member of the First Baptist Ch Read Obituary
Wanda taught me so much about missions and spent time mentoring me. She had a heart for serving others and volunteered thousands of hours helping folk in the US and abroad. I have fond memories of our times together. She was a faithful wife and mother and adored her granddaughter. I could always share my heart with her. She will be missed by many.
I met Wanda and Tommy the first Sunday that they visited FBC Eustis when God arranged for them to sit in the same row with me and my family. When we got acquainted we quickly discovered that it was like old home week because I had been raised just a few miles from where they grew up and had their florist business in Richmond, VA. I had gone to school with Tom's sister and my aunt had worked for them. The rest is history - they moved to Grand Island and we have been friends ever since. Wanda used to say how good it was to have someone here who they could talk to about the old neighborhood and the happenings back home. She is in the best home ever now and we will miss her SO MUCH and the wonderful and many talents that she used wholeheartedly for the glory of God. I know Tommy will continue to carry on their life's work of serving the Lord until he joins his sweetheart.
