Virgil F. Claar's Obituary
Virgil F. Claar 96, of Eustis, passed away on September 11, 2019. He was born in Coldwater, Michigan and moved here in 1997. He retired from Union Pump Company of Battle Creek, Michigan as a machinist and retired as a methods engineer, he was also a farmer. Virgil served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his children; Tom Claar (Shirley) of Bad Axe, Michigan, Steve Claar (Sheila) of Jackson, Michigan, Veronica "Vikki" Mills (Mark) of Kissimmee, Florida, his step son; Larry Greuter of Eustis, daughter in law; Ann Claar of Colorado Springs, Colorado, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years Alice (Stark, Greuter) Claar, his wife of 10 years, June (Stroh) Claar, his wife of 10 years, Ruth (Parks) Claar, his son Mike Claar, and 2 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
