I remember the last time I saw Uncle Vernon and Aunt Pauline the whole family in Savona,N.Y. love you all and sending prayers.
I remember one day I was being a stubborn child and thought it would be okay to skip school. I planned my day with a fishing rod, my bike, and a pack of "Surge". Once I saw my gramp's blue Chevy pickup pull away I thought the coast was clear... I WAS WRONG He pulled back to the house in his usual NASCAR style and caught me trying to hide behind the water well. Point being he pulled me aside and made sure I understood the consequences and how my actions not only affected me, but my parents and family as well. Then gave me a nice country tuned ride to school, one of many lessons learned. I will always miss you grandpa.
He was a great uncle, my favorite. Will miss him terribly. My fondest memory of him was when he took me to work with him one day when he was driving milk truck. We got up so early in the morning, and I think I slept most of the day, but it was so much fun watching the stuff he had to do to get the milk on the truck.
