Vanetha was a really good friend of mine. We enjoyed so many interests together; art, cards, makeup, shopping and our grandchildren. I loved her humor and lively way she had of telling a story. She always had a positive attitude and she is sorely missed.##imported-begin##Connie Harrison##imported-end##
Van will be greatly missed but always in my heart and in my mind. I have such great memories of her from growing up with Kimberly. I always thought she was one of the coolest moms - I loved how she answered the phone by saying "yeah" and how she was so no-nonsense. She always made me feel welcome at the Foote's. So welcome, in fact, that I actually stopped by to visit after I had graduated and moved away from Agawam - I honestly don't think I ever visited any of my other friend's parents, that's how special her and Gary are.I also remember a time that we were on a school trip and I felt so miserably sick. Van rubbed my temples and stayed with me until I fell asleep - I jokingly thought of her as a white witch (in a really good way :)) after that because it truly felt like she was magical for healing me.Love and positive energy to Gary, Kimberly and all of her family. Shawn and I will be making a donation in Van's memory - she will be missed.Heather Lane##imported-begin##Heather and Shawn Lane##imported-end##

Gary: Vanetha is in the warm embrace of God and the angels...she is at peace now.Vanetha will live on in my heart...she left me memories of many things she said and did and as long as I have those memories, she will live on in my heart and mind. I will always remember her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eyes when she smiled. She taught me so much about having a good outlook on life. I will miss her!It is not good-bye,Vanetha; it is until I see you again!##imported-begin##Ellie##imported-end##
Sue and Nancy, my heart goes out to you as well. The two of you are always there for everyone when the chips are down. That's just the way you both are made. And I know you were there for Vanetha and Gary. Two Earth Angels! May God give you strength and peace in your hearts soon.##imported-begin##Dilly Young##imported-end##
It's not so much the date of your birth or the date of your death; it's what you do with the dash between those dates is what matters most. For me personally, I loved seeing Gary and Vanetha together. One was always touching the other in such a loving way - holding hands; a hand on the shoulder of the other and always with such love in their eyes for the other. It was wonderful to witness. And her talent with a paint brush was one of a kind. So many times, I told Vanetha how very much I loved one of her paintings I bought and what it meant to me. It's just beautiful. Well, now, it's given me a new feeling when I look at it. I believe I have part of Vanetha's heart and soul with me, because I believe that a true artist leaves part of their heart and soul on every canvas they paint. Once again, Vanetha, thank you!My prayer for you Gary is that God will give you strength and peace to your heart soon.##imported-begin##Dilly Young##imported-end##
