Tommy Lee Harbin, Sr.'s Obituary
Tommy Lee Harbin, Sr. 84, Deland, FL, went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2011 in Tavares, FL. He was a Fire Prevention Specialist at Walt Disney World, and had been a Professional Firefighter in Washington, D.C. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was assigned to supply vessels during the war. He served on the Board of Directors of the Pine Lake Community Center. Tommy was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church of Eustis, Fl. He is survived by his loving wife of 431/2 years Betty Harbin of Deland, FL; his children: Darrell T. Harbin of Deland, Fl., Tommy L. Harbin, Jr. (Barbara) of Tennessee, Charles M. Harbin (Deborah) of Virginia, Carol Harbin and Dale Harbin of Maryland, Lee Green of Deland, Fl., Ginger Connolly of Ocoee, Fl., Erica Parsons (Rick) of North Carolina; Several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; his brother James Harbin (Edna) of Orlando; his sisters Mamie Mills of Florida and Shirley Nicolella (John) of Georgia. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Directors, 326 E. Orange Ave., Eustis, 352-357-4193. The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 11:00am at Grace Baptist Church, 19650 SR 44 Eustis, FL, 32736. A visitation was held prior to the service from 10:00am till the hour of service at the church. Burial followed at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at 2:30 PM.
