Thomas Leon Youngs' Obituary
Thomas Leon Youngs of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born to his parents Clayton and Vera Youngs in Bethesda, Maryland on January 14, 1951. Thomas worked as a farmer and was a member of the Florida Fruits and Vegetables Association. On May 29, 1976, he married the love of his life Kathryn Youngs. In 1990, they built their permanent home in Mount Dora, Florida. Thomas loved to hunt, golf, and sports. Most recently his love turned to his grandchildren and family.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife Kathryn Youngs; children Rebecca (Robert) Rhodes, Rachel Brown; sister Cindy (Charles) Locke; grandchildren Preston Rhodes, Kyleigh Brown, Mallory Brown, Payge Rhodes, Pierce Rhodes, and Reagan Brown.
A Celebration of life will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Mount Dora, Florida on Friday October 11, 2024, at 10 AM.
