I First met TJ working for Jacobs and enjoyed working with him. He was a one of a kind guy. Always upfront and always helpful. Rest In Peace my friend.
TJ. was a genuine person! He was one of a kind. He knew his job and was great to work with. His favorite line was, “Alfred, I say what most people think about saying”, but with respect and straightforward... no sugar coating it. I 1st met TJ. in 2011 on the BP Whiting Project. I remember talking to TJ about golfing. He wanted to know if I’d ever played. I told him no but, I would love to play. So he invited me to the driving range near our project. Very shortly after we went to the golf course he told me that he was letting me use his old set of golf clubs and that if I liked golfing that they were mine. The next weekend I remember going to Walmart to by a 50 count bag of refurbished golf balls. By the time we made it to hole 9 I had to borrow some of TJ’s balls. He told me that you’re going to have to do better and go in the woods and find my balls. I had the opportunity to work with TJ on the Geismar La. Methanex project too. We kept in contact over the years. I will greatly miss working and talking to him.
RIH.
I have known TJ for the better part of 10 years. We first met in Hastings, Nebraska on a power plant project. Next, we worked together on a power plant project in Utah...then a refinery project in East Chicago, IN....and then a pulp mill project in Calhoun, TN and then a paper machine project in Calhoun, TN. We stayed in contact in between the projects...and during this time we became more than working buds...we became friends...and TJ has been a good friend over the years. I learned a lot form TJ...shared a lot with TJ... and laughed a lot with TJ. I will miss him...but I will not forget him.
