Thomas "Tom" Walter Gayton's Obituary
Thomas "Tom" Walter Gayton “Bronco” of Edgewater, Florida passed away on Thursday July 18, 2024, at the age of 60. He was born to his parents James and Patricia Gayton in Ticonderoga, New York on September 15, 1963. Tom grew up in Crown Point, NY and Southern California. He also called Reno, NV and Jacksonville, FL home before relocating Edgewater, Florida in 2015.
Tom is of the Catholic faith and worked as a journeyman carpenter building custom homes in Malibu, CA, Williston, ND and his own log cabin in Reno, NV. His hobbies included Harley's, gardening, and family vacations. He married the love of his life Ryan on August 30, 1989. His zest for life, questionable sense of humor and ride or die attitude will be forever missed.
Tom was preceded in death by his father James Gayton, daughter Britney Lynn Gayton and brother James Patrick Gayton.
He is survived by his wife Ryan; mother Patricia C. Ingalls of Clinton, New York; sons Shaun Gayton of Edgewater, Florida and Christopher Hemick (Kristen) of New York; daughter Nicole Gayton (Jake Keller) of Denver, CO; Shelby Spradlin of Cocoa, FL; brothers David Gayton (Sue) and Shawn Ingalls of New York; sisters Katherine Gilardi, Shyhra Bennett (Brian), Donna Carpenter (Eric), Lindy Elbert (Eugene), and Patricia Ingalls all from California; grandchildren Levi and Shyhra Gayton; Jayden, Gavin, Olivia, London Spradlin, and Jocelyn and Sienna Hemick.
