Theodore "Ted" Albert Tiemann's Obituary
Theodore “Ted” Tiemann, age 86, of Eustis, Florida, went to be with his loving wife, Rita, and son, Mike, on January 4, 2019. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 8, 1932. Ted enjoyed boating, especially on his 32-foot SeaRae named Camille (his wife’s middle name). He belonged to the South Shore Yacht Club of Milwaukee and had many dear friends there. Later, he belonged to the Fort Myers Yacht Club in Florida. He and Rita enjoyed taking friends and family on the boat.
He and Rita further enjoyed many trips with their friends traveling to Italy, Australia and Hawaii. They also took numerous trips around the country in their travel coach and loved playing card games with friends and family. Ted and Rita took his mother on an extended road trip which she reminisced about often.
Ted is preceded in death by his father (1990) and mother (1997) as well as the love of his life, Rita (Barsh) Tiemann, on December 18, 2013 and his son, Theodore (Mike) Tiemann, on September 11, 2017. He is survived by three grandchildren, Philip Tiemann (Arcelia), Paul (Marlany) Tiemann, and Theresa (David) Smith, and two great-grandchildren, Nathanial and Lincoln Tiemann. He is further survived by three siblings, Clara (Jerry) Kapalczynski, David (Kathy) Tiemann, and Rose (Jerry) Hauck and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his caregiver, Rod Root, whom Ted thought of as a son.
The family would like to especially thank Rod Root and his daughter, Heidi Sargent, for the wonderful loving care they gave Ted as well as Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida
