Sylvia Jean Stominski's Obituary
Sylvia Jean Stominski (Raesler) previously, Sylvia Jean Wright, age 85, passed away Wednesday November 2, 2022 in Mount Dora, FL. Born February 1, 1937 in Baltimore MD to Frank Raesler and Bertha (Lewandowski) Raesler.
Growing up in Locust Point she was surrounded by her three sisters and brother. She enjoyed a long career with Boeing and upon retirement she enjoyed working at St. Philip Neri in Linthicum MD, as well as serving as an Ecumenical Minister for many years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Sylvia is survived by her three children; Peter Wright (Barbara), Mickey (Wright) Jubb (Paul(D)), Gordie Wright and her step-daughter Ginny Stominski (Carolyn). Her grandchildren; Jim Jubb, Stacy Long (Rob), Zachary Wright, Taylor Wright (Amanda), Christopher Wright and Eric Wright. Her great grandchildren; Ashley Taylor, Tanner Wright, Trystan Wright and Tate Wright. Her great great grandchildren; Kinsley Emerick, Stella Emerick, Connor Wright and Lilian Wright. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Gordon Wright, Jr. and her 2nd husband Albert Stominski.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services in Glen Burnie, MD. On Thursday November 10 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral mass service will be held on Friday November 11 at 11:00 am at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Linthicum MD. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park to follow.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
