We were so saddened to hear of Suzanna's passing via the Annapolis Capital newspaper. We met Suzanna through her second cousin, Laurence, about 15 years ago. Upon learning of her talents, we asked her to draw up some designs for a very small project for an office building we own on Maryland Ave. Her drawings passed City Hall with flying colors, no changes.
We were so impressed with her enthusiasm, diligence and magnetic personality, we asked her to help redesign a home on Ridout Creek. Chuck was deployed to Bahgdad at the time, but that didn't stop us from having Sunday afternoon conference calls involving Chuck, myself and Suzanna. Although we did end up nixing the project, it was only for a far better one: upon Chuck's return, we found a wonderful piece of property right on the Chesapeake Bay and Suzanna jumped on board with extra enthusiasm. With Chuck's help, Suzanna designed us the most beautiful house while meeting my request for a 'farm like house' similar to the one we tore down and Chuck's vision for a modern floor plan and features. No one was more proud of this project than the three of us!
Although we lost touch with Suzanna many years ago after her relocation back to Florida, her spirit exists in these Annapolis walls!
Our deepest sympathy reaches all of you from Annapolis, MD.
