Susanne M. Teschendorf's Obituary
Susanne (Sue) Myrtle Matta Teschendorf (nee Maeder), 74, died on December 17, 2011 at her home in Leesburg, Florida.She was born to Oswald and Dorothea (nee Rowe) Maeder on July 18, 1937 in the town of West Bend, Wisconsin. Sue married John Schlosser Sr. in 1955 at West Bend. Sue married Richard Teschendorf on 8/17/1984 at New Fane, Wisconsin.She is survived by Richard A. Teschendorf (husband). 6 children, Bryan (Diana) Schlosser and Gary (Janet) Schlosser of West Bend, Deborah (Friend Tony Montella) Sabel of Random Lake, Wisconsin, Laura (C) Ensor of Clarksville, Tennessee, John (Joan) Schlosser of Campbellsport, Wisconsin and Kevin (Amy) Schlosser of Knoxville, Tennessee and a step-daughter, Lynn (Robert) Ward of Lakenheath, England, brother Clifford (Rosemarie) Maeder of West Bend, sisters Alice Kohlman of West Bend and Lucille Koenig of Leesburg, Florida and sister-in-law Frances Maeder of West Bend. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a multitude of friends. Predeceased by her parents, husband John Schlosser Sr., brother Victor Maeder and brother-in-law Howard Kohlman.She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Kewaskum, Wisconsin and attended Faith Lutheran Church of Eustis, Florida. Sue enjoyed rummaging, crafts, flea markets, gardening, taking care of her birds that she fed daily, going out to eat with family and friends, traveling to and from their winter home and the tea room. She also enjoyed family gatherings and always looked forward to visits from family and friends. She was always ready to go no matter where, very charitable in many ways. Holidays were especially important to her. Special thanks to the visiting nurses from Cornerstone Hospice for their wonderful care. Family and friends of the community for their support in trying times. Sue will be greatly missed by all who knew her.In lieu of flowers please send memorials to the American Cancer Society. Memorial services at St. John’s Lutheran Church, New Fane, Wisconsin, will be held at a future date.
