You are deeply missed and never forgotten.
I started working with Dr. Nerad, in 1992 in Eustis. I was with him all the way of buying his house and then the great wedding he had. The birth of his daughter is all he talked to me about after she was born it was the proudest day of his life. I want to send my sympathy to his family. He never got tired of his goody boxes from his famous mother. May he RPI. Friends always.

So sad to learn of Dr. Nerad's passing. I knew him from the hospital and remember him as a very kind and caring man. A truly gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I had the honor of getting to know and get close to Steve. I spent almost 4 years with him before his passing as his significant other. I will forever miss him. I have wonderful and beautiful memories of him to last me a lifetime. He had a gentle soul and was a sweet man. Caring and compassionate to all that were around him. He cared for every single patient he had under his care. He was truly a doctor that was concerned with his patients well-being aside from just being and overall great person inside and out. He helped many and saved people over his extensive career as a cardiologist.
He loved his daughter so much as she was his pride and joy. He was always beaming and extremely proud when speaking of her accomplishments. He loved his mother very dearly as well.
I'm truly heartbroken that he's no longer with us and there wont be a single day that I wont miss him for the rest of my life.
I worked in PCU at the old Waterman Hospital when I first met Dr. Nerad nearly 30 years ago. He was always kind to his patients and brought an upbeat attitude to our unit. Blessings to his family.
I was a patient of Dr. Nerad for several years and I'm very saddened by his passing. He was a very kind and compassionate person and doctor. I will be praying for his family and friends.
Dr. Nerad was the sweetest, kindest man and wonderful doctor anyone could be proud to know. Our prayers and love to the family and staff of Dr. Nerad. My husband George has been his patient over 15 years......myself, my mother, Doris Boone and my late Grandmother were all patients. Rest in peace Doc....you are certainly missed.
