Steve J. Zabetakis' Obituary
Steve J. Zabetakis 87, of Clermont, passed away on January 19, 2014. He was born in Bertha, Pennsylvania and moved to this area in 2010 from Melbourne. He was a retired window manufacturer for the U.S. Military and a Veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corp during WWII. He was a member of the V.F.W. Steve is survived by two sons; Harry Zabetakis and George Zabetakis both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter; Deborah Wloch of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, a brother; Nick (Del) Zabetakis, sisters; Catherine Zabetakis and Liberty (Andy) Pyros, grandchildren; Zack and Kara Zabetakis, Michelle (Gary) Leist of Mount Dora and John Simmerman of Florida, great grandchildren; Debby (Jose) Santiago, Linda Fowler and Randy Fowler, great great grandchildren; Joseph, Mason, Austin, Guisseppi, and Ariana Santiago. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara in 2012, his son Cletis McClellan, brothers; John, Emanuel, Michael and Stanley. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held in Florida National Cemetery on Monday, February 3rd.
