Stephen "Steve" Foster Marshall's Obituary
Stephen “Steve” Foster Marshall of Sorrento passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the age of 63. He was born in Crossville, Tennessee on Thursday, August 15, 1957 and moved to Florida in 1958. When he was younger, he attended services at the Church of God in Longwood. Steve was an early bird, waking up early every morning to have breakfast with his friends at Chuck Wagon restaurant in Apopka. He also enjoyed fishing and he loved tinkering with things in his spare time. Steve enjoyed a good joke and would affectionately call everyone, Homer.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 6 years, Karen. They were together for 26 years. He will also be missed by his sons, Christopher Marshall of Mims, Florida, and Steven (Jennifer) Martin of Archer, Florida; step sons, Gary (Shelly) Smith of Tallahassee, Florida, and Jason Smith of Inglis, Florida; brothers, Charles (Pat) Marshall of Crossville, Tennessee, Cordel (Jackie) Marshall of Inverness, Florida, Tommy (Sheila) Marshall of Eustis, Florida, and Danny (Susan) Marshall of Eustis, Florida; sisters, Dorothy (Lee) Burke of Tallahassee, Florida, Barbara Carlton of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Audrey (Dennis) O’Dell of New Smyrna Beach, grandchildren; Spencer, Raegan, Nathan, Garrett, Jacob, Caleb, Austin, and Cayden.
Family and Friends are invited to gather on Friday, July 2 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a memorial ceremony beginning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
