Our family’s condolences to yours. Stan was my daughter’s band director at Umatilla. He was a friendly and musical good influence on her and many of her friends. I had the pleasure of working on a few projects he requested of the parents and I found him the kind of teacher we all hope to have. We hope you find peace in the love of friends and family.

My wife and I first met Stan as did many others, walking through the side door of the Mt Dora Flea Market. Once we had to opportunity to meet both him and his lovely wife Pat, we became customer/friends. Stan was a genuine and kind man. Both Stan and Pat had a War Dress mounted inside their booth. My wife was always looked at it and commented about it. So, one day I inquired about it and found out it had been sold. However, Pat being the always pleasing person she is, stated that if we wanted to purchase a Ceremonial shirt worn by Stan, as he knew it would go to a good home, we could. That shirt is now mounted in our home and we are so grateful to have a "piece" of Stan. You will be missed ! Our thoughts to both Pat and all the family. Love Brenda and Mike Kalaman
Stan was one of those rare humans that are instantly liked/loved by everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him. His brave battle with cancer only made his and Pat’s love and respect for each other even stronger. Heaven has gained another member to the Angel Band. Stan may be gone in the flesh but the memories he gave everyone who crossed his path will never be erased. As an aviator, I toast Stan as he goes west.
