Snow Dear Ward's Obituary
Snow Dear Ward 89, of Tavares, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011. She was born in Volga, West Virginia and moved here in 1972 from Springfield, Ohio. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Eustis, the Women’s Bible Study at her Church and the Shuffleboarders at Holiday Mobile Park in Tavares. Mrs. Ward was retired from Kelsey-Hayes (Sikorsky Helicopter) of Springfield, Ohio. She was predeceased by her husband Alonzo in 1995 and is survived by her children, Jim (Teresa) Ward of Greenville, Ohio, Karen (Chip) DeLaet of Eustis, and Barbara (Bob) Sanderson of New Carlisle, Ohio, a brother Earl Karickhoff, sisters Tula Curkendall, Oneita Powers and Deloris Smith all of Volga, West Virginia, a special brother Donnie Kincaid of Buckhannon, West Virginia, five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Services were held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Monday, February 28th at 11 AM with Rev. Stan Beatty officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
