Sixta "Capri" Myrtha Solares Wessolossky's Obituary
Sixta "Capri" Myrtha Solares Wessolossky of Tavares, Florida passed away on Sunday April 23, 2023, at the age of 94. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela to her parents Agustin and Maria Teresa Castro de Wessolossky on August 6, 1928. She moved to New Orleans from Venezuela in 1960 with her husband, four sons and one daughter. In 1998, she then moved to Orlando, Florida and recently spent the past five years living in Tavares, Florida, where she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mount Dora, Florida. Her hobbies included playing dominos, bingo, sewing and knitting. While living in New Orleans she worked for the Venezuelan Consulate for five years and after moving to Florida, she worked at an Orlando Publix for fifteen years.
Sixta is preceded in death by her husband Luis Solares-Perez who passed on October 10, 1982; her sons Louis Alberto (Elizabethvlly) and Eduardo (Gilda) “Edward/Ed/Eddie baby” Alberto Solares.
Sixta is survived by her children Rodolfo “Coco” (Rosalia) Solares, Gustavo “Gus” (Michele Hebert-Solares), and Myrtha "Wess" del Carmen Solares (George Mandella III) Mandella; grandchildren Johans Solares, Jonathan Solares, Colin Luis Solares, Jeanne Marie Woods-Dennis, Tamara “Tami” Louise Mandella, Capri Marie Mandella Alvarez, and George Peter Mandella IV; and many great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held on June 16th, 2023 at 9:00 AM at St Patrick's Catholic Church in Mount Dora, Florida.
