Sheldon C. Gold's Obituary
Sheldon C. Gold of Eustis, Florida passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the age of 93 years. He was born in New York City. He proudly served his country in the US Navy in World War II. He met and married the love of his life, Terri Esther Gold. They were married for 72 years when she passed away in March of 2019. Sheldon worked as a court officer until he retired. However, he always kept busy. He started the Knickerbocker Gun Club in New York, owned a Spanish night club, and owned and managed two apartment building in Brooklyn. He always loved the planes and fighter jets in the Navy, so he obtained his pilot license. He owned two different planes and loved to fly to different places as often as he was able. He and Terri also traveled extensively, traveling around the world twice. Later in life, he enjoyed designing houses and apartment buildings.
Sheldon is remembered and will be dearly missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Gari Lynn and Donald Shehigian of East Greenbush, New York; grandson, Paul Shehigian of E. Greenbush; sisters-in-law, Carole Fragoza of Mount Dora, Florida and Linda Gold of South Carolina; sister, Marilyn Lorenzo of California; and several nieces including, Marlena Fernandez, Cristina Fernandez, Jessica Bradway, Elizabeth (Brian) Alexander and Michael Gold.
