Shelby Jean Hanes' Obituary
Shelby Jean Hanes of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the age of 82 years. She was born in Woodsfield, Ohio to Robert and Myrtle Cecil. She and her husband, Marvin, moved to Mount Dora from Texas in 1987. Shelby worked as a pharmacy technician at Winn Dixie for many years. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tavares, Florida.
Shelby is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 64 years, Marvin L. Hanes, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Marvin Hanes, Jr. and Chrissy of Umatilla, Florida; daughter, Debra Patterson of Eustis; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Robert Kirkland of Groveland, Florida; grandchildren, Jason (Danielle) Patterson of Winter Haven, Florida, Shelley Bruder of Inverness, Florida, Marissa Hanes of Leesburg, Florida and Erika Kirkland of Portland, Oregon; and great-grandchildren, Landyn & Braidleigh.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11:15 am at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
