Samuel Clifford Hunt, Jr.'s Obituary
Samuel Clifford Hunt Jr. 84, of Sorrento, passed away on October 16, 2014. He was born in Florence, Alabama and moved here in 1999 from Orlando. Mr. Hunt was retired from the United States Air Force and from Florida Power Company where he was a warehouse manager. He was a Christian, a member of V.F. W. Post 8087 of Eustis and American Legion Post 35 of Mount Dora. He graduated from Orlando High School in 1948. Samuel is survived by his wife Shirley, they were married for 63 years, also surviving are his children; Debra (Michael) Howell of Clermont and Samuel “Sam” (Arlene) Hunt III of Alexandria, Virginia and his grandchildren; Laura (Joshua) Vaught of Pensacola, Florida and Matthew Howell of Orlando. Services, with military honors, will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Tuesday, October 21st at 11 AM, the family will greet friends from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
