Sammy K. "Sam" Kemp's Obituary
Sammy K. “Sam” Kemp 69, of Eustis, passed away on May 28, 2013. He was born in Coffee County, Alabama and moved to Umatilla in 1945. He was a 1961 graduate of Umatilla High School, a member of the First Baptist Church of Umatilla and a former member of Eustis Lodge 1578 B.P.O.E. Sam was retired from sales and marketing for Electron Machine Corporation of Umatilla and was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife Marlene; they were married for 51 years. Also surviving are his children, Mark (Pamela) Kemp of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Stacy (Scott) Osebold of Eustis, grandchildren, Brittany and Brooke Kemp, sister Judy Burnett of Keystone Heights, Florida, his nephew Bobby Meadows, his sister in-law Carol Kemp and niece Ashley Kemp. The family will receive friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Sunday from 1 until 3 PM, funeral services will be in the Chapel on Monday at 11AM with Rev. Brooks Braswell officiating, interment with military honors will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
