Sam Dixon Burrell's Obituary
Sam Dixon Burrell 89, of Tavares, passed away on May 2, 2016. He was born in Bloomfield, Indiana and moved here in 1993 from Indianapolis. Sam was a retired systems analyst for Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Company, he worked there for 36 years. He was a Christian and served in the United States Navy in both World War II and the Korean War. Over the years he had been active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He is survived by his wife Lila, children; Nicolas Burrell of Seminole, Florida and Pamela (Rick) Rosberg of Bonita Springs, Florida, grandchildren; Bryan Rosberg, Mark Burrell and Amanda Burrell and his great grandchildren; Nolan Rosberg, Ethan Rosberg and Aidan Rosberg.
The final resting place will be Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
