Ruth R. Squire's Obituary
Ruth R. Squire of Eustis, Florida passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the age of 104 years. She was born in Pickens, South Carolina on June 26, 1918. Ruth moved to Leesburg, Florida in 1946. She attended church at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. She was a member of the Camellia Garden Club in Eustis, Florida, the Pine Meadows Golf Ladies League, and the Daughters of the American Republic Organization. She attended Winthrop University where she got a degree to become a Master Flower Show Judge. In 1945 she married Edward Squire and they were happily married for 56 years.
Ruth is predeceased by her husband Edward Squire who passed away in 2001, her first husband Robert Woodsams Sr. who passed during the war, along with 3 brothers and 1 sister. Ruth is survived by her son Edward (Diane) Squire of Eustis, Florida and Robert Woodsams Jr. of Eustis, Florida
A Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Eustis, Florida on July 23, 2022 at 11am.
