Ruth S. Kranich's Obituary
Ruth S. Kranich, 98, of Mount Dora passed away Monday, November 5, 2012. Born in Newark New Jersey, she had been a resident of this area since 1981 coming from Absecon, New Jersey. During her lifetime, Ruth was a professional seamstress. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis where she was active in the Council of Catholic Women. She was also active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Altoona Volunteer Fire Department.Survivors include: 1 Son; John Edward Kranich, Jr., Altoona, Florida. 5 Grandchildren, 11, Great-Grandchildren, 18 Great-Great Grandchildren & 1 Great-Great-Great Grandchild. She was pre-deceased by a Sister, Mildred Whittenmeyer; 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild & 1 Great-Great Grandchild.Memorial Services were held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel, 326 Orange Ave., Eustis, Florida with Deacon William Fisher officiating.Those who wish may make contributions in her memory to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, Florida. 32778.
