Ruth Aline Rich's Obituary
Ruth Aline Rich, 98, of Eustis went to be with her Lord and Savior and all of her family and friends who have gone before her. What a wonderful reunion that will be. A native of Florida she was born to the late Arthur and Bartha DeLidle. Ruth met and married Joseph Rich, who preceded her in death. She worked at Bay Street Pharmacy. Ruth loved to read her Bible and many, many books. She loved to visit with all and tell the stories of her simple life and memories to all that would listen. Ruth also enjoyed baking, especially fruit cake at Christmas time. She would share anything she had with anyone. Ruth loved to watch and feed her squirrel and bird friends. She grew flowers as beautiful as she was. Ruth was very independent, caring for herself and never complaining. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence, Leonard, Frank and Elmo DeLidle, sons, Robert and David and a her granddaughter Wanda Ann Rich and a niece, Sharon Cheseborough. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her son, Gordon Rich and two sisters, Louie Endinger Litke (married to Ernest Litke) and Doryan Huffman Lenord, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many friends, all of which had a very special place in her heart of gold. She loved each and every one of them! To know her was to love he rand she loved everyone she knew. She will be missed by many but never forgotten.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis.
