Roy E. Wilson's Obituary
Roy E. Wilson, age 32, of Leesburg, FL passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025. He was born on May 28, 1993 in Marion, OH and moved to Florida in 1996 from Dresden, OH. He was a cook and loved the culinary industry. He is survived by his mother, Kathy (Delmer) Clark of Altoona, FL; son, Benjamin Wilson of Mt. Dora, FL; daughter, Lilyana Grace Wilson of Mt. Dora, FL; brothers, Matthew (Mary) McCarl of Altoona, FL, L. Patrick McCarl of Dayton, OH; sisters, Jennifer Lawton of Altoona, FL, and Jessica (Aaron) Mullins of Leesburg, FL, several nieces and nephews and his girlfriend Michelle Porter of Leesburg, FL. Roy was preceded in death by his father, John L. Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors, Eustis. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. Parking for Hamlin & Hilbish will be in the parking lot across the street next to Lake Eustis Christian Church. There will be cones, a sign, and possible police assistance with crossing. For those unable to walk or needing additional assistance there is parking in the back of the building with a ramp to assist getting into the building.
