Ronnie "Ron" Mack Gibson's Obituary
Ronnie “Ron” Mack Gibson, age 76, of Eustis, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026. He was born on March 4, 1950, in Glendale, Florida to Madrue and Esker Gibson. He lived a life rooted deeply in faith, family, and service to his community.
A devoted Southern Baptist, Ron dedicated much of his life to ministry. He faithfully served as a minister and was instrumental in opening numerous churches throughout Lake County—work that touched countless lives and helped shape the spiritual foundation of the area. His calling to serve others was evident in everything he did.
In addition to his ministry, Ron was a talented draftsman and home designer. As the owner of his own design business, he drafted and designed many of the homes and structures seen throughout Lake County today. His creativity and craftsmanship left a lasting mark on the community he loved.
Ron’s passions were many. He played guitar in a high‑school band, sparking a lifelong love of music. He was an avid reader, always eager to learn and explore new ideas. Above all, Ron cherished his family—especially his grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy.
On December 26, 1970, at First Baptist Church of Umatilla, Ron married his high‑school sweetheart, Debbie. Their 55 years of marriage stand as a testament to enduring love, partnership, and devotion.
